The HGB-450-5-09EL (HGB450509EL) is a 400MHz band high-gain gutter element manufactured by Nippon Antenna. It is a capacitive grounded 3λ/4 whip antenna element. A whip antenna is one that has no directionality and can receive and transmit signals from any angle. λ (lambda) refers to wavelength. It can be used as an antenna for general business radio and digital simple radio. It comes with a folding mechanism. It should be used in combination with the separately sold mounting bases GB-BA3-09 and GB-BA5-09, along with connectors. Please combine it with one of the separately sold connectors MP-TA2 (M connector), NP-TA (N connector), or BNCP-TA (BNC connector) that matches your radio equipment. The HMG-450-5-09EL (HMG450509EL) is a 400MHz band high-gain magnetic element manufactured by Nippon Antenna. It is a 3λ/4 collapsible antenna element for radio equipment in the 400MHz band. It is a capacitive grounded 3λ/4 whip antenna. A whip antenna is one that has no directionality and can receive and transmit signals from any angle. It is used in combination with separately sold mobile station vehicle-mounted magnetic bases such as MG-BA5-09 and MG-BA3-09. This product is the same antenna element as the high-gain magnetic antennas HMG-450-5B-09 and HMG-450-5A-09 for the 400MHz band. It operates at a specified frequency within the 350-470MHz range, with two model numbers based on the operating frequency: - HMG-450-5-09EL 350-370: Frequency range 350-370MHz - HMG-450-5-09EL 450-470: Frequency range 450-470MHz. A whip antenna is one that has no directivity and can receive and transmit signals from any angle. λ (lambda) refers to wavelength. This is a specified frequency in the 60MHz band. Please specify the fo (center frequency) in MHz when placing your order. The connector is an M6×1 female thread.
